After Crown Placement — Post-Operative Instructions
What Is a Dental Crown?
A dental crown is a custom-made cap that covers and protects a damaged, weakened, or restored tooth. It restores the tooth’s shape, strength, and appearance while functioning just like a natural tooth.
Now that your permanent crown has been placed, following these care instructions will help it settle in comfortably and last for many years. Most patients adjust to their new crown within just a few days.
