Do I need a referral to schedule an appointment?
No referral is required. You can call our office directly at 903-583-7786 or use our online booking option to schedule a consultation, cleaning, or any other treatment. If you’ve been referred by another dentist or specialist, please bring any records, X-rays, or notes they’ve provided.
What should I expect during my first visit?
Your first visit typically includes a comprehensive oral exam, digital X-rays if needed, a discussion of your dental and medical history, and a conversation about your goals and concerns. If a cleaning is appropriate, we’ll perform one at the same visit. Dr. Ramchand will then explain any findings and walk you through a personalized treatment plan.
How often should I visit the dentist?
Most patients should have a professional cleaning and exam every six months. Patients with gum disease, dental implants, orthodontic work, or higher risk for cavities may benefit from more frequent visits. We’ll recommend the right schedule for you based on your oral health needs.
Do you treat children and families?
Yes. We offer comprehensive pediatric dentistry for kids of all ages, including first dental visits, exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, fillings, pulp therapy, and sedation options for anxious children. Our team is experienced at making young patients feel safe and comfortable from their very first appointment.
What if I have dental anxiety or fear of the dentist?
We take dental anxiety seriously and offer several options to help you feel at ease, including nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral sedation, and a calm, patient-centered approach. Whether you have mild nervousness or significant fear, just let us know in advance and we’ll plan a comfortable experience that fits your needs.
Do you handle dental emergencies?
Yes. We provide emergency dental care for issues like severe toothache, knocked-out or broken teeth, lost crowns or fillings, abscesses, and dental trauma. Call our office at 903-583-7786 right away — we will do our best to see you the same day. For life-threatening emergencies, always call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room first.
Do you offer cosmetic dentistry?
Yes. Our cosmetic services include professional teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, porcelain crowns, porcelain fixed bridges, composite (white) fillings, and full smile makeovers. Do you offer sedation dentistry for adults and children?
Yes. We offer multiple levels of sedation including nitrous oxide for both adults and children, and oral sedation for patients undergoing longer or more complex procedures. We’ll review your medical history and discuss the safest, most appropriate option for your treatment.
What technology do you use?
We use modern dental technology to make care more accurate, efficient, and comfortable, including digital X-rays, panoramic X-rays, i-CAT® 3D imaging, intraoral cameras, laser dentistry (BIOLASE® Waterlase®, SIROLaser®), and digital impressions. These tools help us catch issues earlier and treat them with less discomfort.
Do you accept dental insurance?
